Clarke Quay ~ eat & see~
Boat Quay
Just around the corner of Singapore River is Boat Quay which is a collection of restaurants, bars and pubs. They are lined along the river, so beautiful view is welcoming you every single night. There are a lot of restaurants where you can taste different countries' cuisine from Southeast Asian food to and drink trendy Singaporean alcohol. Personally, it is a little expensive for students to have enough dinner at night, so I recommend you first check the price before entering inside and take an order. In front of the restaurants, there is a memu or staff which help you, and they advise travelers which restaurant is suitable for them, depending on the budget and taste. Enjoy meal with your family and boyfriend or girlfriend.
6 minutes from Clarke Quay MRT Sta on foot
With all the jolly food and drink, do you spoil the rest of your time? Let's go to one of the impressive experience "Singapore River Cruise." Literally, this is an activity to see the whole night view of the center of Singapore along the river. Since 1987 , Singapore River Cruise has offered travelers a chance to take a look at modern Singapore's view from the boat. It is often said that the river cruise shows us "A Tale of two quays." Once you ride it on, it's sure to give you unforgettable experience of Clarke Quay, Boat Quay and Marina Bay.
First, you buy the ticket and go to the one of the jetties (There are 8 jetties which you can choose). If you want to take a seat in the rear part and take pictures and videos, the first jetty is desirable. It starts at Boat Quay stops and through Fullerton Hotel and Merlion Statue, and then reaches Marina Bay Sands.
I'll guide you from Boat Quay to Marina Bay, which I chose when I experienced.

2. Along the Boat Quay |
You can see the restaurants and pubs which I introduced. The scenery looks different from what it is at twilight. As the boat goes ahead, the Central Business District appears, where there are more famous companies and the Singapore Stock Exchange.
3. Nearby Fullerton Hotel |
On your right hand, you'll see one of the most luxurious hotels in Singapore, The Fullerton Hotel. It was chosen as 5-star hotel which must be take pressure off after exploring the city all day.

When I was reading this post, I felt as if I got on board a ship and traveled along the river. Your explanation is great!! By the way, I would like to say that you should put a short description about the video under it. If so, readers can understand what the video is about easily.
ReplyDeleteI got your comment. Clearly, this video is too long to watch without boredom. I'm trying to put summary next time.
DeleteWell done ! Another informative and entertaining view of Singapore. Did you manage to connect your post to social media? I hope so. Your blog is surely valuable to people who wish to travel and experience Singapore. One point, the title of the picture 2. Along the Boat Quay has a problem with differing font size. Make sure to double check that sort of thing before posting.
ReplyDeleteI'm connecting with my Facebook, but it's not easy to do that. Therefore, I want to finish it until next time.
DeleteI look forward to hearing about your success.
