Singapore and Merlion Statue

Singapore is modern, international, romantic and artistic... I couldn't find out an appropriate word to express this country. Many cultures are mixed and spread all over the country because a long time ago, people from China, India ,Malaysia and some Europe came to do business and trade, so the Singaporean consists of Chinese, Indian and European people. You can't believe that you are in one of the Asian countries.

When you step into the beautiful city, Merlion, the iconic landmark welcome you at first. It has a lion's head and fish's body. Merlion's body represents that Singapore was a fishing village a long time ago and its head is from Singapura, an original name, which means lion's city. People say Merlion Statue protects the country not to happen a tragedy like the past and wish everyone peaceful life. If you go see and take pictures with Merlion Statue, you yourself should be the second Merlion like this.

I recommend you that you explore installments in the park after taking pictures. There are a lot of food which are Singaporean, Chinese and Indonesian and so on. Nothing beats mouth-watering foods with exotic mood at night. Let's eat and enjoy the night! By the way, can you guess how many Merlion Statue is in Singapore? The answer is 7! If you have time, why don't you seek all of them?

    1. Sorry for not enough information about it. I want to tell you that Singapore has a long history to build the stable country like you see it. People have some tragedy which is also related to Japan. In the past. Japanese military dominated it without mercy, so I want the readers to know the two aspects of Merlion Statue. Thank you for your comment.

  2. Great start to your blog. Nice pictures. It seems that you had a good time. Here are a couple of suggestions that you might want to try.
    1. If you make your blog title font bigger than your post title font, it will make it easier for a reader to remember your blogs title.
    2. I recommend that you avoid the use of the phrase 'and so on.' In your writing, you mentioned 3 ethnic foods, then use that phrase. What this suggests is that the three ethnicities you wrote about are more important than any other. Is that the message that you want to send? In other words, it suggests that others aren't important enough to mention.
Great start though. Keep up the good work.

    1. I didn't realize that the deep meaning of the phrase, and of course, I didn't mean that. There are many installments, but most of them are related to the three foods and I couldn't show all of the names. I want to pay attention to the way of using words. Thank you for your support.
