Singapore Grand Prix
Hi theređź‘€
Today shall we take a look at an thrilling activity in the Marina Bay? Singapore Grand Prix is one of the biggest car races in the globe. The hottest 3-day race was held from on Sep 20 to Sep 22 in 2019. I joined the final day's practice race before the final race, therefore I'm sharing my experience with you.
About tickets
My ticket is a one-day ticket including the practice race and a live performance.
There are some types of tickets; one is 3-day ticket and the other is single-day ticket. What is more, each ticket depends on the Zone. (the stand) In Singapore Grand Prix, there are four Zones. (Tickets) The earlier you book them, the cheaper you can get, and online tickets are a lot better than anything else.

Formula One racing is roughly divided into three parts; Practice sessions, Qualifying sessions and Race. Practice sessions is literally exercising for drivers to learn the circuit and test their cars. The teams try new suspensions to make their cars much faster. Every Practice sessions must be ordered, and each team pays attention to the rivals.
In the second day, Qualifying sessions takes place. The sessions determines the running order at the beginning of the next day's Race. The first qualifier will get the first position which is vantage of the starting because it do not have to follow other cars. Therefore, each team gets more and more tempered, which gets nervous on the audience!!
All the drivers' and teams' energy, and audience's cheering are put to the MAX on the paramount day. The first Race starts in the afternoon. Thirty minutes before the race starting, the cars enter the track and do the warm-up run as they wish. After finishing each preparation, at 15:50, the cars line up and the exciting race begins.
Singapore Grand Prix: Highlight
Entertainment line-up
F1 is not only for car lovers but music fans. Every year a lot of singers' voice resound in Marina Bay. In 2019, 19 musicians from the world held their vibrant concerts. The concert venues depend on the musicians, therefore when you dive into the music concerts, please make sure to enter the designated Zone from each available entrance shown in your ticket. You may not be familiar with some singers, however I guess it becomes a good chance to foreign countries hot trend. If you are a big fan of car race or Singapore, you have not lived until you have been there!!

I've never been in such a world and it reminds me of Disney movie, "Cars" or, Nintendo's Mario Kart. I feel like diving into such a great exciting place and enjoying the interesting race. Did you meet famous singer in the concert? I'd like to know who attended the concert, so if you remembered it, please tell me!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment. My ticket was included music performance in addition to races, I couldn't see it because of my tight schedule. In 2019, 19 singers and bands did their wonderful performance. Although I'm not sure they are working in Japan, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Gwen Stefani came to Singapore from USA. For your reference, in 2018, SEKAI NO OWARI from Japan sang in Marina Bay Circuit!! I think this kind of worldwide competition or rally like F1 is similar to the Olympic Games regarding communicating with foreign people and prevailing their activities more cheerfully.
DeleteAgain, an interesting personal travelogue. You certainly made the most of your time in Singapore. Here are a couple of things I would like to suggest. Firstly, the PR video you posted has been blocked on your blog by Grand Prix management. Therefore, I can't watch it. Secondly, you mention an App that you used for Grand Prix information. Perhaps you should give a link for others to download the App so that they can look for themselves.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your suggestion. I will try fixing these things. In the next post, I put my precious memory in Singapore, therefore I would like you to look forward to it!
DeleteI was surprised that such a hot battle was taking place in Singapore. I've never seen a race like this, so it's exciting just to imagine the excitement of the venue! Your description is detailed and very easy to understand, so it is grateful for reader.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I'm looking forward to your next post!
I'm delightful to hear that!! Originally one of my family member was a car racer and when I was a child, I used to sit down to next to him in an open car, which is relevant to my habit. Mostly if people are not interested in car, they may not have opportunities to go there, but I want the other people to get interest on F1 by watching music performance.
