Marina Bay Sands
Spectra
A light and water show reflects the historical Singapore's journey to become one of the modern and multicultural countries in the world. There are four chapters related to its story in the show. In the first and second chapters, Singapore was tragically attacked by the other countries and tribes in the past. Gradually, it was getting more and more generous to welcome other cultures. What's more, in the third and fourth ones, it shows Singapore is developing in a lot of aspects.
It's sure that you'll e inspired by the vibrant water, state-of-the art technology of light and impressing symphony. It'll be one of the unforgettable memory in Singapore.

Bars
After chilling out in the light and water show, it doesn't hurt to drink fancy alcohol in bars housed in Marina Bay Sands? In Singapore, we can drink legally as intended if you are 18 years old or older. There are some adorable cafes and bars facing Marina Bay. In the daytime, although the prices are a little expensive for me like students, it's not true in the daytime and evening. Some bars provide great cocktails, beers and other alcohols at bargain price. (S$9~)
This is Dallas Cafe & Bar in Marina Bay Sands. It offers happy hour drinks from a range of draft beers, house wines, sparkling wines and cocktails from 11am to 7pm every day.

Singapore Sling (a long drink) is a gin-based cocktail from Singapore. It has been developing by a Singaporean bartender who worked in a fist-class hotel. When you ask the waiters the recommendation, most of them may tell you Singapore Sling is a star of us. It's so sweet because most of the ingredient are cherry, pineapple and lime juice, so I think it's not strong for the first time like me. Lychee Crush contains lots of fruits juice such as lychee and lime, but it's much more potent than Singaporean Sling because of Vodka. If you are not good at strong alcohol, it's better to add some fizzy drinks before you are completely drunk. Make sure to keep yourself to go home safely.
I'm sure every one will be fond of this kind of cozy bars. From artisanal pizza to juicy burgers, mouthwatering dishes are waiting for you! How about tasting delicious food with fine cocktails if you are already 18 years old? There are a lot of bars and pubs in Marina Bay Sands, and I put a link, so why don't you check it to see trendy Singaporean alcohol?

Your blog is always informative! After reading your post, I felt like drinking Singapore Sling. It looks fruity and sweet. My wish is to go to the top floor of Marina Bay Sands and enjoy the pool. I would like to tell you one more thing. That is I want to know more about Marina Bay Sands. Especially, I'd like to know the building structure. Everyone may want to know about what is on the roof.
ReplyDeleteMarina Bay Sands is a huge complex which houses one of the luxurious hotels in Singapore, museums, rich restaurants, bars and clothes stores. The hotel is too expensive and gorgeous to stay at ease, for instance, if you reserve a room in the end of the year or beginning of next year, it costs at least S$379 per a day. (30, 000yen)
DeleteThis is the link about the prices.

Of course, it'll vary slightly depending on which room and what to do during the stay, but in any case you'll prepare bulk of money than you stay at economy hotels.
What's more, you're Skypark Infinity Pool, right?? I've heard lodgers can use the rooftop pool, and then drink alcohol and bite snacks there.
My blog has been focusing on sightseeing which students are also available as their short trip, but I want to make a post about hotels after that.
Thank you for your advice!!
Another great travelogue post Mako! Well done!
ReplyDeleteOne thing that I would like to encourage with your blog is that you make another page that is accessed by a tab at the top of your main page, called 'About the Writer', or something like that. Because you are offering your personal experience as a guide to Singapore, I think that your readers would like to know who you are and why you are and what your connection to Singapore is. This page should also contain a picture of you in Singapore. Don't be shy. Give it a try.
Thank you for your suggestion. I wonder my profile can't be seen on my post, I mean in not main page. In addition, I added some tabs, but it's limited... I'm trying to solve the problem .
DeleteI see that if we click the pages icon at the top of your page, we can read your bio. Though it is not so obvious to readers how to access that, it certainly gives them an understanding of who you are when they find it.
DeleteThe night view of Singapore is really beautiful! And the light and water show is really amazing. I watch this video and want to see it directly with my own eyes. Also, the cocktail in the picture looks very delicious. I was surprised because I didn't know that alcohol was legal in Singapore since I was 18 years old. This time your blog is also interesting. I'm looking forward to next time!!
ReplyDeleteI'm also happy to see you reading and watching my post more deeply. There are some official website about travel in Singapore.
DeleteThis is Lonely Planet website. It's making some plans and adding detail, so if you're interested in, how about checking out?

Moreover, if you want to read Japanese guide, How to walk the earth (地球の歩き方) will help you.
I was waiting for the introduction of Marina Bay Sands!
ReplyDeleteI wanted to go further after seeing this introduction! The bar was the same one that appeared in the Conan movie released this year, so I thought it was a good place to look around the stage of the Conan movie.
I remembered Conan by your comment. Maybe he is flying around Marina Bay Sands like a bird!! When it comes to Marina Bay Sands, the rooftop pool will come to our mind, but in addition, it is a collection of treasures like food and clothes. If you like European bland clothes, it's sure that you can buy them more cheaply than you seek them in Japan.
